- Vans Skateboarding introduces the ImpactWaffle™ outsole to the Zahba. This is our latest technology that provides the highest level of impact protection while maintaining excellent board feel.
Zahba™ shoes are designed with the environment in mind and have received the Vans VR3 Checkerboard Globe marking. The Vans VR3 designation adheres to strict raw materials guidelines, which require that the product must be made from at least 30% of one or more recycled, responsibly sourced, renewable and recycled materials.
• IMPACTWAFFLE™ : a new dimension of cushioning that does not negatively affect the excellent feel of the board.
• VR3CUSH™ : flexible dual-density midsole made of at least 50% bio-based Eva foam, which is partially derived from plants.
• SICKSTICK™ : Zahba™ rubber convex sole has a zoned tread for better traction and durability, and a section of inverted waffle tread at the heel that increases the durability of the shoes. The outsole is composed of at least 55% natural rubber, responsibly sourced using proven and sustainable practices to reduce our impact on the planet.
• DURACAP™ : Reinforced toecap increases durability and provides additional protection.
• IMPROVED FIT : Comfortable, low-top skater shoe with a 98% recycled foam sockliner for added comfort.
• UPPER : materials used include durable suede in areas exposed to increased wear and light and breathable mesh inspired by sports footwear that will withstand many adventures.
This model has an extra pair of laces.
