Call Me 917 or simply 917 is one of two companies founded by Alex Olson. The first company was Bianca Chandôn, and when it was founded, Alex launched a phone number (917) 692-2706 that people could call to learn more about the brand. However, he didn't want Bianca to become a skateboard company, but on the other hand he really wanted to somehow support the skateboard scene he came from. When Bianca Chandôn started operating, the number became redundant and she used it to name her second company - Call Me 917. Today, 917 is a core skateboard company, available only in selected skateshops.
