ABOUT THE BRAND
Hélas is a French brand from Paris founded by Lucas Puig, Stephen Khou and Clement Brunel in 2011. Initially, it was supposed to be a company producing hats, but over time it developed and releases several full collections of clothes and accessories every year. The name and logo were invented during my stay in London. "Hélas" is French for "unfortunately" and this word perfectly described their condition on rainy days when they couldn't skateboard and an umbrella was their only protection against getting wet. In 2015, the company released its first video - The Hélas Mixtape, and in 2019 it released its second full-length film - Fellas.
