All-New Skate Classics: Exceptionally strong internal construction for skateboardingThe new Skate Classics collection has been completely redesigned with modern skateboarding and skateboarders in mind, as well as skaters looking to push their skills to the limit. This season, we teamed up with Elijah Berl to create a collection of Skate Classics shoes and apparel that expresses his passion for classic tattoos, biker culture, retro surfing and 1950s fashion.
Repositioned reinforced DURACAP™ sockliners and a completely redesigned upper combine with a new two-piece foxing tape that has a deeper knurled pattern on the toe, make the new Elijah Berle Skate Sk8-Hi Decon model strong enough to withstand everyday skateboarding shenanigans. For greater control over the board, a new molded heel counter and internal tongue straps are used, thanks to which the shoes fit the foot better. Even the rubber outsole that Vans is famous for has been improved with a SICKSTICK™ rubber blend for improved grip and board feel. Additionally, POPCUSH™ inserts provide energy return, excellent cushioning and impact protection, while also helping to reduce leg fatigue during longer board rides. Internal heel stiffeners have also been added for improved support and stability.
The new version of the "foxing tape", durable 170 g suede and canvas uppers and Velcro fasteners of the Elijah Berle Skate Sk8-Hi Decon shoes guarantee the iconic look and high functionality that skaters need. Look out for the new checkerboard label on the side for ultimate style and enjoy a shoe made for modern skating.
