Polar Skate Co.

Polar Skate Co. is one of the best independent skateboard brands in the world. It was founded in 2011 by Pontus Alv, a legendary Swedish skater from Malmö, who is not only the founder but also creative director, illustrator, videographer, editor, skater and avid DIY spot builder. Other people strongly associated with Polar are Jacob Ovgren and Stefan Narancić, the graphic designers responsible for most of the designs we see on the boards and clothing. The collections are inspired by art, culture and the skateboard scene, with many of the graphics designed by the team riders themselves. Polar Skate Co.'s motto is “inspire others to inspire themselves”. Polar was voted ‘European Brand of The Year’ at the Euro Skate Awards in 2013-2015 and in 2019.
