Venture Trucks was founded in the early 1980s in San Francisco (California). The founders of the brand were Eric Swenson and Fausto Vitello, who were joined a few months after the start-up by another member: Keith Cochrane. The original team then included: Eddie Reategui, Steve Rocco, and Mark Gonzales. The truck breakthrough came in 1992 when the ‘Featherlight’ model was developed. It brought Venture to prominence and a strong position in the skateboarding market. The trucks were characterised by a lower profile and lightness compared to the competition.
