Element is a company founded in 1991 by Johnny Schilleriff, who took over a failing company called Underworld Element Skateboards. Previously, Johnny Schilleriff was a rider for Underworld Element Skateboards. After the acquisition, Schilleriff shortened the company name to Element Skateboards.
